Lilangabi Agate – 77 mm | Chromatography & Waterlines

A collector-grade specimen from the Lilangabi deposit, Lebombo Mountains. The face displays strong chromatography — warm amber-gold and sard-orange banding in the outer zones transitions into cool grey chalcedony at the centre, with clear waterlines running horizontally across the face. A well-defined floater sits suspended within the upper chalcedony field. The lower section presents deep orange and black banding with fluid, undulating character. Discovered and exclusively sourced by Elemental Treasure, and hand-lapped in house.

Each Lilangabi agate is a natural stone formed over millions of years. The Lilangabi deposit — 'flame' in SiSwati — was discovered in August 2025 by Kent Alcock, prospector and co-founder of Elemental Treasure, in a remote valley in the Lebombo Mountains. These specimens are cut and hand-lapped in house. Natural, with no treatments, dyes, or enhancements.
