Description

A striking specimen from the Lebombo Mountains deposit. Features a large central druzy vug lined with quartz and calcite, set within broad concentric banding that transitions from a pale pink chalcedony interior to a rich amber-golden outer band. The natural rind is exceptionally well-preserved — heavily textured, a rare and visually compelling feature on a lapped piece. Discovered and exclusively sourced by Elemental Treasure, and hand-lapped in house.

Each Lilangabi agate is a natural stone formed over millions of years. The Lilangabi deposit — 'flame' in SiSwati — was discovered in August 2025 by Kent Alcock, prospector and co-founder of Elemental Treasure, in a remote valley in the Lebombo Mountains. These specimens are cut and hand-lapped in house. Natural, with no treatments, dyes, or enhancements.
