Product details

Description

A fine specimen from the Lilangabi deposit, Lembombo Mountains, and the other half of LIL00044. The face presents a centre filled with tight, parallel waterlines, with a small drusy vug at the upper margin of the centre chamber. Fortification banding radiates outward in warm amber and sard-carnelian tones, with strong chromatography visible across the banding transitions. Scalloped banding marks the base margin. Discovered and exclusively sourced by Elemental Treasure, and hand-lapped in house.

Each Lilangabi agate is a natural stone formed over millions of years. The Lilangabi deposit — 'flame' in SiSwati — was discovered in August 2025 by Kent Alcock, prospector and co-founder of Elemental Treasure, in a remote valley in the Lebombo Mountains. These specimens are cut and hand-lapped in house. Natural, with no treatments, dyes, or enhancements.

Shade images show accurate structure and banding; sun and in-hand shots reveal true colour depth. Both show the same unedited piece.

You will receive the exact item shown in the photos. All photographs are captured without filters or digital enhancement to show the true character of the stone.

Please take note of the measurements and view all photos carefully before purchasing.

Shipping:
Dispatched from South Africa. Estimated delivery is 7–10 working days depending on destination and customs clearance. International buyers should be aware that import taxes or VAT may apply.

Care & Display:
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners. Display away from direct sunlight to preserve natural colour. Handle with care as agates can chip if dropped on hard surfaces.
