A top-grade Amethyst Cactus Quartz cluster from Boekenhouthoek, South Africa — the only known locality in the world where this formation occurs. Cactus Quartz (also known as Spirit Quartz) is a macrocrystalline quartz in which a central crystal is encrusted with a second generation of smaller, drusy crystal terminations, creating the distinctive spiny, cactus-like habit. This specimen presents a strong amethyst colouration with characteristic darker accents at the crystal tips. The cluster sits on a flat natural quartz matrix base, allowing it to stand freely without a stand.

Sourced directly from Boekenhouthoek, South Africa.
