Lilangabi Agate – 130 mm | Chromatography & Waterlines

A world-class specimen from the Lebombo Mountains deposit, and one of the standout pieces in this inaugural release. The face is defined by a broad lavender-purple chalcedony band encircling a large open drusy vug — an exceptional and rare colour expression for Lilangabi material. A substantial calcite crystal formation sits on the vug floor, clearly visible within the cavity. Strong chromatography runs through the full band sequence from deep amber-gold at the outer margin to the purple inner band. A dense plume field occupies the lower margin, and a pronounced waterline feature is present within the interior. Bold fortification banding frames the face throughout. Discovered and exclusively sourced by Elemental Treasure, and hand-lapped in house.

Each Lilangabi agate is a natural stone formed over millions of years. The Lilangabi deposit — 'flame' in SiSwati — was discovered in August 2025 by Kent Alcock, prospector and co-founder of Elemental Treasure, in a remote valley in the Lebombo Mountains. These specimens are cut and hand-lapped in house. Natural, with no treatments, dyes, or enhancements.
