Natural Hand-Polished Malawi Agate – 40 mm | Fortification Banding, Ghost Banding, Scalloped Banding

A substantial specimen from the Ngabu deposit, displaying two distinct banding lobes in deep sard-red and carnelian, separated by a dark central zone. Fortification banding runs through both lobes with strong white and cream separator bands, while ghost banding traces pale echo layers within the body of the stone. The right lobe shows pronounced scalloped band edges, tapering to a sharp angular point — a structural detail well captured in the close-up. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character.
