A vivid specimen from the Ngabu deposit. Tight fortification banding sweeps across the face in an exceptional chromatic range — deep purple-mauve at the outer margin transitioning through warm brown, a bright golden-yellow band intensifying into vivid orange, with a concentrated dark zone immediately surrounding the druzy vug at the centre. A small druzy vug punctuates the face, adding textural contrast to the polished surface. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi's Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
You will receive the exact item shown in the photos. All photographs are captured in natural light without filters or digital enhancement to show the true character of the stone.
Please take note of the measurements and view all photos carefully before purchasing.
