Natural Hand-Polished Malawi Agate – 58 mm | Multi-chamber, eye, scalloped banding, hematoid inclusions

A structurally complex specimen from the Ngabu deposit. The polished face presents multiple distinct banding chambers — two dominant zones with their own concentric banding centres, flanked by smaller chambers visible at the upper section, all separated by natural intrusion lines that give the face its characteristic divided structure. The left chamber carries deep crimson-red and dark burgundy bands with a confirmed agate eye and scattered hematoid spotting throughout the banding. The right chamber contrasts sharply in tone, with soft pink-rose and pale lavender bands and additional hematoid inclusions. Scalloped banding is present on the outer edges of both main chambers. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi's Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
