A well-matched pair from the Ngabu deposit. Both pieces share a compact, rounded-triangular form with closely mirrored banding structure and strong tonal consistency across the set. Warm amber-honey and buff outer bands transition inward through carnelian-red and deep red-orange to a central amber-brown core, with a distinct lacy quartz floater ring encircling the centre of each piece. The outer bands carry a clear scalloped edge character throughout. The match is exceptional in both form and banding rhythm. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi's Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.

You will receive the exact item shown in the photos. All photographs are captured in natural light without filters or digital enhancement to show the true character of the stone.

Please take note of the measurements and view all photos carefully before purchasing.
