An investment-grade single from the Ngabu deposit with a dramatic sard-red to burgundy-purple palette and bold scalloped fortification banding. The defining feature is a sinuous flow channel of white crystalline quartz that winds through the upper face, dividing the stone into two distinct banding zones — the upper with complex, vortex-like swirling bands, the lower with broad, arching fortification. A deep blue-grey chalcedony border frames the face, and ghost banding adds quiet depth beneath the surface. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi’s Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
