A Ngabu specimen with parallax. Fortification banding in deep sard-red runs through a cool blue-grey chalcedony mid-zone to a pale inner ring and calcite centre — band edges distinctly scalloped, giving the interior a star-like geometry. The lower face opens into a pale chalcedony zone with dark spotting and fine patterning. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Shade images show accurate structure and banding; sun and in-hand shots reveal true colour depth. Both show the same unedited piece.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi's Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.

You will receive the exact item shown in the photos. All photographs are captured in natural light without filters or digital enhancement to show the true character of the stone.

Please take note of the measurements and view all photos carefully before purchasing.

Shipping:
Dispatched from South Africa. Estimated delivery is 7–10 working days depending on destination and customs clearance. International buyers should be aware that import taxes or VAT may apply.

Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners. Display away from direct sunlight to preserve natural colour. Handle with care as agates can chip if dropped on hard surfaces.
