Natural Hand-Polished Malawi Agate – 43 mm | Druzy, Secondary Inner Zone & Fortification Banding

A warm and richly coloured single from the Ngabu deposit with a broad carnelian-orange to sard-red outer band and a vivid golden-yellow inner band framing a large quartz inner zone. Within the quartz field sits a distinct secondary inner zone of pale chalcedony, speckled with fine dark mineral inclusions. The exterior is heavily botryoidal — smooth, rounded surface formations in warm carnelian-orange. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi’s Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
