Malawi Agate – 51 mm | Vug & Flow Channel
Couldn't load pickup availability
A single from the Ngabu deposit with complex banding systems. Two distinct fortification banding systems converge at the centre of the face — bands from the upper-left and lower zones interlock in a dual convergence, with a flow channel tracing the boundary between them and a small triangular vug of micro-crystalline quartz at the meeting point. Palette runs golden-amber and carnelian-orange in the upper zone, deepening through sard-red, pink and mauve to white. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.
