A dramatically divided single from the Ngabu deposit — the face tells two geological stories simultaneously. The lower half carries a classic Ngabu fortification banding system in warm honey-amber, cream and sard-red, with a deeply scalloped inner band framing a rich sard-red to near-crimson inner zone, a prominent white chalcedony band arching broadly over the red interior. The upper half is consumed entirely by dense teal-green moss inclusions — branching, cloud-like formations in deep teal and forest green that spread across the face in organic, tree-like patterns. The same mineral expression permeates the exterior, giving the nodule a striking teal-green to dark blue-grey surface visible in the back image. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi's Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
You will receive the exact item shown in the photos. All photographs are captured in natural light without filters or digital enhancement to show the true character of the stone.
Please take note of the measurements and view all photos carefully before purchasing.
