A striking eye-form specimen from the Ngabu deposit — one of the most visually dramatic structures this material produces. Features a vivid carnelian-red inner band enclosing a crystalline centre of white and lavender micro-crystals, set within a warm amber zone with subtle ghost banding. The outer fortification layers are framed by a classic blue-grey chalcedony border. The sard-carnelian contrast is exceptional. Hand-polished in South Africa to reveal full depth and translucency. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi. An investment-grade collector specimen.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi's Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
You will receive the exact item shown in the photos. All photographs are captured in natural light without filters or digital enhancement to show the true character of the stone.
Please take note of the measurements and view all photos carefully before purchasing.
