Natural Hand-Polished Malawi Agate – 51 mm | Parallax, Ghost Banding & Fortification Banding

A richly coloured single from the Ngabu deposit with a large, open inner zone of vivid golden-yellow to warm amber-orange chalcedony — intensely saturated and luminous at the centre of the face. A deeper sard-red to carnelian area glows within the right-centre of the inner zone, adding warmth and depth. Broad, sweeping fortification bands in cool blue-grey and white frame the inner zone in gentle waves, creating a striking warm-cool contrast across the composition. A small pale natural inclusion sits within the inner zone, visible in the close-up. Ghost banding adds translucent depth in the outer zone. The parallax effect is pronounced as the banding layers shift with viewing angle. The back face is unpolished, revealing the raw interior structure and confirming the vivid colour runs deep through the stone. Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi’s Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
