A complex and visually dynamic single from the Ngabu deposit with true crazy lace banding — bands running in multiple directions simultaneously, folding into sweeping S-curves and looping arcs across the face. Bold sard-red and carnelian-orange bands interweave with open zones of cool blue-grey chalcedony, creating a vivid warm-cool interplay throughout the composition. The natural nodule form gives the stone an irregular, organic silhouette. Ghost banding adds depth in the blue-grey zones. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi’s Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
You will receive the exact item shown in the photos. All photographs are captured in natural light without filters or digital enhancement to show the true character of the stone.
Please take note of the measurements and view all photos carefully before purchasing.
