Natural Hand-Polished Malawi Agate – 56 mm | Flow Channel, Vug, Moss Inclusions

A Ngabu specimen with a complex, multi-zone face. Deep sard-red sweeps across the surface in broad flow channels — the banding non-concentric, moving laterally in fluid arcs rather than rings. Upper left breaks into tight loops, distinct from the main flow. A rectangular crystalline vug sits mid-face, flat-bottomed with a fine crystalline interior. The lower edge opens into a wide blue-grey chalcedony border carrying dark dendritic inclusions — a strong warm-cool contrast against the hot sard-red above. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi's Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.
