An exceptional specimen from the Ngabu deposit, showcasing some of the finest banding density seen in Ngabu material. Features a striking parallax centre — a floating sard-carnelian eye encircled by layer upon layer of precisely defined fortification bands in cool grey, white and warm red tones. Shadow banding adds subtle depth between the stronger lines, while a blue-grey chalcedony border frames the face with quiet elegance. Directly sourced from Ngabu, Malawi and hand-polished by us in South Africa. A true investment-grade specimen.

Each Malawi agate specimen is a natural stone formed over millions of years. These Ngabu candy agates are weathered from Jurassic basalts of the Karoo supergroup in southern Malawi's Nsanje district. This collector-grade polished agate may show minor surface marks or internal features as part of its natural formation and unique character. Any notable characteristics are clearly visible in the images.

You will receive the exact item shown in the photos. All photographs are captured in natural light without filters or digital enhancement to show the true character of the stone.

Please take note of the measurements and view all photos carefully before purchasing.
